Dan Morris: Logic Pro X
(USA-ATL) I was born into a musical family. My mom was a classical guitar instructor from Peabody Conservatory, My dad was a jazz drummer. I grew up playing multiple instruments and by age 15 I was teaching guitar to many of my mom's students.
Having set up live sound and recorded demos for my bands throughout the years I decided to pursue music production in college. I received a degree in Audio Engineering from The Art Institute of Atlanta and began interning at Atlanta studios. My band at the time, Marathon, was discovered by Ken Block of Sister Hazel. We were added to their management company Sixthman and began to tour. We played with Collective Soul, Train, Sister Hazel, John Mayer, India Arie and countless others. Marathon was signed by Dualtone Records in Nashville. We recorded several albums and continued to tour. After leaving the band I pursued a career in technology as a Solutions Architect and Engineer. I love the nexus of technology and music and continue to bring these skills to writing and recording today.
