La Keenan Ealy

St. Louis, Mo La Keenan “Time – Out” Ealy (T.O.) was born to Cheryl Brown, singer and Willie Ealy in St. Louis, Mo – Ferguson bound. Growing up T.O. was surrounded by the sounds of Billie Holiday, Anita Baker, Miles Davis, Kenny Rogers, Quincy Jones and the like. His inspiration stems far and wide but centers around the sounds of the ‘old school’, soulful music. T. O. began creating music at the tender age of 12. Creating new, ear catching music was his passion and becoming one of the great legends was his dream. Grind Squad/ Derrty ENT signed young T.O. at age 15. T.O. spent 4 years with the record company before branching off into his own. New sounds, creative inspiring messages, and awesome production continued throughout the artist’s adolescent years.
T.O. created Force Music Group, LLC. in the year 2011. The label has grown into what you see today, strong, independent, and innovative. T.O. is known for his tenacity and gifted ability to create one of a kind productions that form to the artist. He has created sounds for artists The Fray, Lil Boosie, Murphy Lee, Skinny Pimp, County Brown, Aye Verb, Bo Dean, Tef Poe, and Black Spade to name a few. Understanding the needs of his clients and matching them with sounds that fit their personalities and music style is definitely a strong point for this artist. “Creating quality music that speaks to the person listening is a passion and quality over quantity is must,” states producer T.O. In his personal time, T.O. enjoys spending time with his son, family, special lady, watching movies, and of course making music. Making great music isn’t seen as a job for this artist, however, it is more than that; it is something that simply burns from within and pours out without effort. “You can find me in St. Louie/whurr da guns spray/and rain all day...” quoted by T.O. regarding his whereabouts when not working. It has been a long 16 years since this artist started in this game and it will be long after this moment before he lays down his crown.
Devoting time to the community and uplifting youth are activities that keep him grounded while providing donations to local nonprofits. The donations help to encourage independence through financial gains. T.O. has been nominated for Top 5 Producer of the Year for 2016, Slum Fest Beat Battle Champion 2014, and a licensing opportunity for single, “She Said” with Indaba Music. It is said that if you have thin skin working with T.O., he might not be your best option as he is 100 percent with all his clients and expects nothing but the best. Giving up music would be the greatest challenge for T.O. as great music is his passion and will stand to be his legend. Force Music Group (FMG) LLC. is a composition of mixing, mastering, recording, and the overall production experience to include hospitality at its finest.
